While growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, Daniel Meyer often felt the weighty presence of eyes upon him. One by one such oddities as aliens, guardian angels and peeping toms were ruled out and the piercing gaze of gargoyles were discovered.
Although the muse of the novel has preoccupied much of his writing endeavors, Daniel has increasingly found the need to research, photograph, write and commune with gargoyles across the country. He has writing and photography credits in several magazines and websites, and has an upcoming book..."Gargoyles and Grotesques of the Ohio River Valley".
He attended the University of Louisville and gathered BA and MS degrees in biology receiving teaching and research grants along the way. He currently holds a position with the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness.
Daniel is the father of one son, Christopher, and lives with his son and dog--Gabby, and a scorpon named Tucson...and yes, gargoyles are perched from mantle, bookcase and windowsill alike.
